City Council General Election
VOTE November 6th!

The time has come for the citizens of Woodinville to be rightfully and more fully represented on the City Council. Two CNW members, Jeff Glickman and Susan Boundy-Sanders, are running in the General Election November 6th. Each has fought long and hard for Wellington. They want to serve the citizens of this neighborhood, and indeed all of Woodinville, in guiding us toward a strong and sustainable future. Please take a moment to read the following information on these candidates then vote wisely on November 6th.

Jeff Glickman

Jeff Glickman

Jeff is President of Concerned Neighbors of Wellington. Jeff has worked long and hard for us, taking the front seat during the recent City Council and Hearing Examiner hearings. He coordinated with our attorney and the CNW Board and membership to ensure our success in August. He is well-acquainted with the workings of City Hall and the land use regulations which make the system represent the citizenry.

Used to wading through paperwork to find the facts, Jeff is a Computer Scientist and Board-Certified Forensic Examiner and a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners. He served as Chairman of the City of Hood River Planning Commission. He and his wife, Lori, have lived in Wellington for two years.

In addition to CNW, Jeff is endorsed by Deputy Mayor Hank Stecker, City Council member Chuck Price, City Planning Commissioner Phil Relnick, and Past-President of CNW Fred Green, among many others.

For more information please see Jeff's website: www.JeffGlickman.com

Susan Boundy-Sanders

Susan Boundy-Sanders

Susan has been a longtime supporter of CNW and has spoken in front of many City meetings on our behalf. She is President of her neighborhood association, The Woodinville Conservancy. An instrumental member of the Citizens Advisory Panel for the City of Woodinville's Sustainable Development Study, Susan has made a lengthy commitment to help clarify and steer Woodinville's growth in an environmentally-sound and sustainable direction.

Susan shared her expertise in geologic hazards such as the landslides and erosion which deterred high-density development on our cliff-face. She has a BS in Geology, BA in Economics (cum laude), and a Masters of Science in Geology with a minor in Geophysics from Caltech. She and her family have lived in Woodinville for ten years.

Endorsements come eagerly from CNW, Washington State Senator Eric Oemig and Washington State Representative Roger Goodman. Hank Stecker, Chuck Price, and Matt Schultz (CAP) also heartily endorse Susan as our next City Council member for Position 6.
